CPR training in Melbourne

Melbourne's CBD centre runs frequent enough sessions that most students find a class within a few days of when they need one — useful for renewal deadlines set by an employer. Susan leads most classes and is praised even by students on their third or fourth first aid course for keeping the material fresh. Rated 4.9★.

What students say about our Melbourne centre

I really enjoyed the class. Susan's teaching style was very engaging and easy to follow. I have completed First Aid courses many times before, and I can honestly say this was one of the best sessions I have attended. Thank you, Susan, for delivering such an excellent training session

CPR in Melbourne — FAQ

Where is CPR training held in Melbourne?

At our Melbourne centre: Level 3, 55 Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000. All classes are face-to-face.

How much is CPR in Melbourne?

Provide CPR from $45. See the live dates above for exact pricing and to book online.

How do I get to the Melbourne centre?

Small class sizes here mean one manikin per student for the CPR component — no sharing, no waiting. Flinders Street Station and the free City Circle tram both stop close by, with paid parking around Swanston Street.

Does this certificate work outside the state I train in?

Yes — as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91399), the statement of attainment is recognised anywhere in Australia. You'll need a USI before it can be issued, which takes a couple of minutes to set up free at usi.gov.au if you don't have one already.

Why is CPR renewed so much more often than first aid?

Compression technique and rhythm are perishable skills — most guidelines and workplace policies treat a 12-month CPR refresh as standard, separate from the 3-year cycle on the broader Provide First Aid certificate. Your specific employer or industry body sets the actual requirement.

What's actually covered in the 90 minutes?

Resuscitation technique across adults, children and infants, recognising when someone needs it, managing choking, and using an AED — all practised hands-on against current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, not just watched.

Should I book CPR or the full Provide First Aid course?

If your only requirement is the annual CPR refresh, HLTAID009 alone is faster and cheaper. If you need the broader workplace first aid certificate (most employers do), book HLTAID011 instead — it already has CPR built in, so you're not doing it twice.

Is there anything to do before I arrive?

Yes — a short online module you complete beforehand, so the in-person session is spent entirely on the practical skills rather than the theory.

Do you match a lower advertised price?

If another RTO publicly advertises the same unit for less, send us the details through our price match page and we'll do our best to match it with a discount code.
